We use Unitrade Specialized Canada catalog 2008
for CV as we believe this more accurately portrays the real value
since the dramatic rise in the Canadian dollar, and believe Scotts
will come closer to these values when they publish their new
catalog. But, we have priced the items VERY low to
sell fast..............
All stamps are described to the best of my knowledge. I always
try to illustrate the auction with clear, large photos . Please be
aware that I have a limited knowledge of much of my material. Often
a listing was a part of a much larger collection. Inspect the items
carefully, as my descriptions may be brief. The item you see is the
item you get! I enjoy working with stamps, but my other duties with
http://www.strays.ca/ and
http://www.strays.us/ usually
leave me with too much to do, and too little time. Often a
volunteer has taken the pictures, and I upload what I have. If you
require a photo of back (or a clearer photo of the front if the
uploaded one is not clear) and there is not one here, please let me
know and I will be glad to either add one to the listing or send to
you.
As general guidelines regarding descriptions, the condition of the
items will be described as accurate as possible. With individual
stamps, all of the generally accepted major flaws which are not
always visible in the pictures, regardless of the resolution (e.g.
thins, etc.) will be mentioned in the description if they exist.
Flaws which are clearly visible in the pictures, like missing
perfs., tears, creases , obvious soiling/toning, short margins on
one or more sides, reinforced perfs. for multiples, etc. might not
always be mentioned in the description and they alone do not
constitute an acceptable reason in case of a return. Some "flaws"
which are not uniformly accepted as being so, like paper adhesion
on the back of a stamp, off-sets, natural gum skips or wrinkles,
heavy hinging, etc. might not always be described. If these things
bother you and you are not sure, request a picture of the back of
the stamp.
I am not an expert by any means....but I'm trying, and I am sure
having fun learning! I accept best offers...but please be
reasonable.
As always, I'll be happy to answer any questions regarding the
listings if I can.
This site is operated by Barry Tuddenham and will sell mostly,
but not exclusively, worldwide covers and French stamps...two areas
of collecting that interest me greatly...but of which I still have
a LOT to learn! Please check out our listings...we have some
fantastic items available. If you see an error in listing info,
please let me know...
If you see an error in pricing and think an item is too low, by
all means grab it up...but tell me where I made a mistake so I will
know for next time. If I am too high, please tell me why you think
so. Help is always appreciated.
If you are not familiar with us, please
read our Terms and conditions :

This site hopes to raise awareness for an issue that concerns me
deeply... how animals are treated prior to reaching the dinner
table (although, as always profits will go to stray animals.) I see
nothing wrong with eating meat, but how an animal is treated
(or grossly mistreated to be more
accurate) is a terrible injustice that should not be
ignored by any caring person. Out of site out of mind does just not
cut it....the barbaric practices now used, all to save a few cents,
are truly insane! For education purposes we operate the web site
