We have a large selection
of Canada our stores, all stamps on sale now!
NOTE:
We need to raise approx. $10,000 quickly, so are
putting on an exceptional sale. As with all our auctions, items
will start at 1 cent no reserve....300 or so great items are being
auctioned over two days. There are some fantastic job lots in this
auction, just as we received them.We do not examine our job
lots in any way other than to take the photos...selling them as we
receive them. Those that take the time to study all the
photos ( usually 20 or more) will most certainly be rewarded for
their time: while taking photos, I saw individual items with a
scott cv of $100 or more in some lots. We do not examine our
joblots other than to take the photos...not for the faint of heart,
but an exceptional opportunity for some. Start your own stamp
business!
We will also be be putting several thousand items in BOTH our
stores up for sale, and have a thousand or more items to upload
during the sale...so keep checking. You will never get a better
chance to buy great stamps. Check out the inventory on sale in both
our stores:

This site is operated by Barry Tuddenham. I also
run the Stampwants store now called Cats Anonymous (formerly Straysstamps). I
donated all the stamps in the straysstamps store to Cats Anonymous,
and from now all proceeds from stamps sold from that store will go
directly to them. Profits from this store will be used to fund
other ventures that I feel need attention. To understand the
unusual name, please click on the banner found at the bottom of
this listing... with what is being done to food these days just to
save a few cents, you just might save your own bacon! :-)
All stamps are described to the best of my knowledge. I always
try to illustrate the auction with clear, large photos . Please be
aware that I have a limited knowledge of much of my material. Often
a listing was a part of a much larger collection. Inspect the items
carefully, as my descriptions may be brief. The item you see is the
item you get! I enjoy working with stamps, but my other duties with
http://www.strays.ca/ usually
leave me with too much to do, and too little time. Often a
volunteer has taken the pictures, and I upload what I have. If you
require a photo of the back (or a clearer photo of the front if the
uploaded one is not clear) and there is not one here, please let me
know and I will be glad to either add one to the listing or send to
you.
As general guidelines regarding descriptions, the condition of the
items will be described as accurate as possible. With individual
stamps, all of the generally accepted major flaws which are not
always visible in the pictures, regardless of the resolution (e.g.
thins, etc.) will be mentioned in the description if they exist.
Flaws which are clearly visible in the pictures, like missing
perfs., tears, creases , obvious soiling/toning, short margins on
one or more sides, reinforced perfs. for multiples, etc. might not
always be mentioned in the description and they alone do not
constitute an acceptable reason in case of a return. Some "flaws"
which are not uniformly accepted as being so, like paper adhesion
on the back of a stamp, off-sets, natural gum skips or wrinkles,
heavy hinging, etc. might not always be described.
I am not an expert by any means....but I'm trying, and I am sure
having fun learning! I accept best offers...but please be
reasonable.
As always, I'll be happy to answer any questions regarding the
listings if I can.
If you see an error in pricing and think an item is too low, by
all means grab it up...but tell me where I made a mistake so I will
know for next time. If I am too high, please tell me why you think
so. Help is always appreciated.
