Antigua 

Prince Charles and Lady Diana's Wedding, 1981

Two different First Day Covers from Antigua commemorating the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana in 1981 are offered for sale in this listing. One of the covers has the booklet of 6 self-adhesive stamps featuring portraits of Charles and of Diana (2007 Scott #627a; CV $3) and the other cover has a panel with the Royal Couple on a single $5 stamp (#627b; CV $2). There is a single cancel on the cover but not on the panel or stamps; there is a single cancel on the $5 stamp panel, and two over the six-stamp panel. On the left of each cover is a cachet showing an announcement of the Royal Wedding, a date surrounded by an oval with two bells and doves on the top and leaves on the bottom, and an indication that this is a Souvenir FDC. Each cover measures 8.5 X 7 inches.
