1930-38 GERMANY ASSORTMENT OF COVERS & CARDS (x15);Assortment of German covers includes: Michel P207 unused postal card with 8 pf Hindenburg imprint and printed message from von Hindenburg; 'Segelflug' (catapult) post card with red 25 pf Segelflugpost imprint & Hessen cancel and Mi #378 with 19.10.30 cancel; 2 Mi P268 post cards, one used with 20. April 1938 (Hitler's birthday) cancel, one unused, both with same front and Mi #663 on plain post card with 'Am 10 April dem Fuhrer Dein Ja"' slogan cancel; 5 covers each with US Scott #802 'APR. 11, 1938' Miami FL. cancel and Germany Scott #415 (Mi #512) tied to cover by 'DEUTSHE MARINE-SCHIFFSPOST/10.4.38/ Meteor' cancel, and purple slogan cancel 'AM 10, APRIL DEM FUHRER DEIN JA'. The 'Meteor' was on its North Atlantic Expedition. Included newspaper clipping gives more information; 5 covers each with similar mixed franking from Austria & Germany with special cancel 'Ein Volk. Ein Reich. Ein Fuhrer./10 April 1938/Wien'. Interesting lot, celebrating incorporation of Austria into greater Germany. Very fine."
